Art Inspirations
My passion is to help others to get the best from life. In the busyness of our fast paced lifestyles we miss so much of what life has to offer. Relaxation is a valuable part of self-care, and creating art work of any kind helps with expression and communication. Art therapy is a wonderful way to open yourself up to change and support yourself on a deep level away from the stress that you find yourself trapped in so often. You don't have to be artistic to enjoy creating!
The topics I choose are all things alive! My paintings are inspired by my love of animals and nature . Although I enjoy working in oils, the vivid colours of acrylics are amazing when you need a lively focal point to bring your subject to light. When it comes to creating a portrait, I choose pencil. It allows me to get to the finer details where a tiny line will change the whole expression on a face. I am enthusiastic about discovering new media and I am most recently being inspired by alcohol inks. Creativity galore! I have illustrated a number of books and I am always up for a challenge!
